Vault Dweller/Chosen One

using a Star Wars AT-ST pilot figure as a base i began my Vault Dweller figure.

CHRYSLUS MOTORS HIGHWAYMAN

This in-game screenshot from FALLOUT 2 was the inspiration for this kitbash. Inspiration: i did not make a replica of this vehicle but came up with something i felt fit perfectly in the fallout canon.
started with a '56 chevy bel air from monogram. had to saw off the trunk to make my own open version.
using sheet polystyrene, i began a scratch built trunk interior.

 added some chicken wire.

jump ahead to the model being mostly constructed. i started adding in electronics to the engine. i wanted it to look like this car was rebuilt from found/available parts. note the difference in my vehicle's single headlights compared to the highwayman's dual lights.
i masked off the windshield in a wiper blade pattern so that i could put a clear matte coating to simulate road dust. also, more polystyrene in the engine compartment.
